IND vs SA 3rd Test: WATCH – Umesh Yadav cleans up Faf du Plessis with an absolute peach

India is all over South Africa from Day 1 of the third Test match at the JSCA International Cricket Stadium in Ranchi.

After Rohit Sharma’s maiden double hundred, Ajinkya Rahane’s century, and Ravindra Jadeja’s fifty, the Indian bowlers started well by taking wickets at regular intervals since the start of South Africa’s first innings.

South Africa resumed their innings, with the scoreboard reading 9/2 on day three with Zubayr Hamza and Faf du Plessis in the middle. Hamza first scored a four off the third ball in the first over of the day, which was bowled by Umesh Yadav, and then picked up three, which brought du Plessis on strike.

However, the Proteas skipper faced a peach of a delivery from the 32-year-old pacer and had no answer to it. The ball landed on a good length area, and du Plessis missed the line of the ball. The beauty utterly outplayed the right-handed batsman bowled at him. The ball moved away from the batsman and went on to hit the top of the off-stump.

Umesh bowled a ripper to remove Quinton de Kock in his first over on Sunday.
