Australia’s charge towards the 2020 T20 World Cup begins on Sunday (October 27) in the first match of the men’s international season.
And ahead of their first T20I against Sri Lanka, a video of opening batsman David Warner has gone viral. In this video, the Aussie southpaw was seen showing his ambidextrous talent. For one ball, he batted right-handed and for the next delivery, he switched his stance to left-hand.
T20 batting is always evolving of course. And here’s @davidwarner31, the switch-hitter of renown, putting on an exhibition of ambidextrous batting in the nets at @TheAdelaideOval @cricbuzz #AUSvSL pic.twitter.com/GYBupoCo3z

Sunday’s T20I will be another first for Warner on his road back from 12 months out of the game. Not only will this be Warner’s first T20I in more than three years, but it will also Steve Smith’s first international match at home since the expiry of their Newlands bans.
