Australia speedster Mitchell Starc, who is known for his express pace and toe-crushing yorkers, once again produced an absolute ripper during the third and T20I against Pakistan on Friday.
Starc delivered a searing spell at Perth’s Optus Stadium to pick up two wickets in two balls to help restrict the visitors to 106-8 before Aaron Finch (52 not out) and David Warner (48 not out) steered Australia to a 2-0 series win with 49 balls to spare.
Having picked the big wicket of Pakistan captain Babar Azam in the third over of Pakistan’s innings, Starc bowled a jaffa to castle new batsman Mohammad Rizwan for a first-ball duck off the very next ball.
Bowled at a yorker length, the delivery moved sharply into the right-hander to dismantle his stumps. Going by the reaction of Rizwan, he was completely bamboozled and misjudged the length of the ball.

Starc couldn’t top it off with a hat-trick the following ball but it set the tone for the Aussies as they sent out a real statement ahead of next year’s T20 World Cup.
