Pat Cummins continued his dream form with the ball in the first Test between Australia and Pakistan at the Gabba in Brisbane.
Being consistent with his line and length, Cummins claimed three wickets to dismantle Pakistan’s batting unit for just 240 on Day 1 of the first innings.
The pick of the delivery, from Cummins, was bowled to middle-order Asad Shafiq which sent the bails flying in perfect synchronization. It was a length delivery from Cummins which came back sharply after pitching outside the line of off-stump.
Shafiq, who committed himself on the front-foot failed to pick the movement of the ball off the pitch and ended up walking back to the pavilion. The right-handed batsman played a crucial knock of 76 runs before the absolute peach of a delivery by the Aussie pacer ended his stay at the crease.
