England all-rounder Ben Stokes once again starred with the bat as he top-scored for his side and helped them post a decent total of 353/10 in the first innings of the opening Test against New Zealand at the Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui.
Resuming his innings from 67 not out on Day 2, Stokes was all set to reach the three-figure mark before Ross Taylor pulled off a stunning catch to send him back for 91.
It happened in the 101st over of the match. Though fast bowler Tim Southee got the big wicket of Stokes, credit should go to Taylor, who timed his jump to perfection and completed the one-handed stunner.
