During the 13th match of the ongoing Mzansi Super League (MSL) in Paarl, Jozi Stars star all-rounder Chris Gayle was seen pleading to the umpire after beating Paarl Rocks opener Henry David.
The incident took place on the sixth delivery of the first over. Gayle found David right in front of the stumps as the latter missed to play a flick shot.
Opening the bowling for his side, the 40-year-old Gayle nearly got the breakthrough in the first over, but the umpire gave the decision in the batsman’s favor.
The Jamaican appealed in such a manner that even the umpire was seen laughing at him. The self-proclaimed ‘Universe Boss’ made a cry-baby’ face, but it also didn’t work for him.
