India’s new opener Mayank Agarwal is having a dream run this year. Ever since he debuted against the Aussies, he’s looking unstoppable. Agarwal has reached 700 points to enter into the top 10 Test Batsmen rankings for the first time in his cricketing career. England’s all-rounder Ben Stokes also arrives on the list. Stokes got to 704 points and claimed the 9th position.

Agarwal is also the leading run-scorer for India in the current calendar year and 2nd overall after Australian genius Steve Smith. Agarwal has played 8 Test matches in 2019 and scored 754 runs with an average of 68.54. He has also scored three hundred and two fifties this year, with 243 being his highest score.
Meanwhile, England’s Joe Root is having a tough phase this year, which has costed him to slip out from the top 10 batting rankings. Double hundred by BJ Watling of New Zealand has rewarded him to grab the 12th position.
The top two spots have been acquired by the best in the business. Steve Smith is at the top with 931 points, and Virat Kohli is just near holding the 2nd spot with 928 points.
Speaking about the bowlers, Neil Wagner’s eight-wicket haul has taken him to a career-best third position with 816 points. Jasprit Bumrah is the only Indian pacer to be a part of the top 10 Test Bowlers with 794 points.
Ravichandran Ashwin is also on the list and holding the 10th position with 772 points.
