On Day 3 of the ongoing Pink-Ball Test in Perth, Australian skipper Tim Paine, who isn’t having his best time with the willow for quite a while now, got dismissed by a peach of a delivery from New Zealand pacer Tim Southee.
Coming out to bat at No. 7, Paine had to see off the pink-ball, which was swinging and troubling the batsmen before the end of the day’s play. The right-hander, however, lasted for only two balls as he completely misjudged the length of the delivery to see his stumps get rattled.
Cricket Australia posted the video on its official Twitter handle.

While Paine remained clueless and walked back to the pavilion on duck, Southee was ecstatic for producing a gem of a delivery to remove the Aussie captain.
At stumps, Australia were 167/6 in their second innings. Batting first, the hosts managed 416 riding on Marnus Labuschagne’s 143. In reply, Kiwis were bundled out for a paltry 166 and are trailing behind ever since.
