WATCH: David Miller hits the ball out of the park; leaves BBL fans in awe

South African destructive batsman David Miller is known for his big-hitting. The left-hander has the ability to clear any ground, and he once again showed a glimpse of his talent in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL).

During the match between Hobart Hurricanes (HBH) and Melbourne Renegades (MLR), Miller exhibited his vintage touch. In the 17th over of Hurricanes innings, Miller picked a slower delivery bowled by Harry Gurney and hit it out of the park.

Gurney bowled into Miller’s arc and was, therefore, punished for committing the error as the ball sailed out of the ground.

Earlier, in the match, Aaron Finch-led Renegades won the toss and decided to bat first at Bellerive Oval. However, the decision went into the favor of hosts as they managed to restrict visitors at 147 runs.

In response, the Hurricanes chased down the total with five balls to spare. D’Arcy Short was the hero as he made 60 off 45 balls with seven fours and one six. Skipper Ben McDermott and middle-order batter David Miller played handy knocks and remained unbeaten on 51 and 25, respectively.

Melbourne Renegades will face Adelaide Strikers in their next match on December 29, while Hobart Hurricanes will play against Melbourne Stars on December 30.
