On the current tour of South Africa, England players are not having a good time both off and on the field. After the illness fiasco, vice-captain Ben Stokes and senior bowler Stuart Broad got involved in a heated argument during the third day’s play at Super Sports Park in Centurion.
In a video going viral on social media, Stokes and Broad can be seen exchanging few words. Both players were in a team huddle when the incident took place.
England’s skipper Joe Root was also a witness to the argument; however, he didn’t intervene.
The heated exchange even caught the attention of commentators and former England captain, Nasser Hussain.
“England’s hot in the weather and not feeling well. I’m pleased that a few words were exchanged to be honest,” said Hussain on air.
“They’ve (Stokes and Broad) got a problem with each other, Broad has said something in the huddle that Stokes is not amused with and England’s vice-captain picks him up on it. I don’t mind that at all,” added Hussain.
