IND vs AUS: Twitter erupts as David Warner, Aaron Finch slam tons to hand India their heaviest defeat against Australia

The Australian openers, David Warner and Aaron Finch, slammed unbeaten tons as the tourists thrashed India by 10 wickets in the three-match series opener at Wankhede on Tuesday.

This was India’s heaviest defeat against Australia in the 50-over format as they had never lost by 10 wickets against them.

Earlier, India were bundled out for 255 in 49.1 overs after Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first. Shikhar Dhawan’s 74 took India to that score as other batsmen failed even to cross the 50-run mark.

KL Rahul (47) was the second-highest scorer for the hosts. Mitchell Starc was the pick of the bowlers for Australia as he scalped three wickets for 56 runs.
