Indian captain Virat Kohli was an absolute live wire in the outfield as he pulled off an absolute stunner during the third ODI against Australia in Bengaluru on Sunday.
Fielding in the cover region during the 32nd over of the Australian innings, Kohli dived across the full length and took a sensational catch to send Marnus Labuschagne packing for a gritty 54 off 64 balls. Kohli had earlier stopped a boundary in the same over when he dived to his left as the 31-year-old stopped Labuschagne from finding the gap in the covers.
“Went for the drive and Virat Kohli moved and then dived in the right direction. Fantastic catch that. This is a stunning catch”, said a commentator on air.
