In reply, UAE crumbled against the magical spin bowling of Afghanistan’s bowlers. Shafiqullah Gafari, who dismantled South Africa’s batting line-up in the tournament’s opener, once again exhibited brilliance in the bowling and claimed his second five-wicket haul in the competition.
UAE couldn’t hold their innings for long as they got all-out on 105 inside 33 overs. Gafari was honored by the ‘Player of the Match’ award for his outstanding bowling.

In another match, Pakistan faced Zimbabwe at Witrand Cricket Field in Potchefstroom. Like their neighbors Afghanistan, Pakistan too carried on their winning run and skunked Zimbabwe by 38 runs.
While batting first, Pakistan posted 294-9, thanks to Mohammad Haris, who scored a vital 81-run innings.
Chasing the target of 295, the Dion Myers-led side could only score 256 and lost their second match of the tournament. Tahir Hussain and Abbas Afridi took three wickets each. Haris for his match-winning knock received the ‘Player of the Match’ award.
And it's a win for Pakistan in Potchefstroom too.
