After scoring just seven in the first innings, Rishabh Pant scored a quickfire 70 in the second innings as India’s three-day warm-up match against New Zealand ended in a draw.
It was a typical Pant knock as he slammed four fours and as many sixes during his 65-ball stay on the crease.

Mayank Agarwal and Prithvi Shaw walked in to bat from where they had left on Saturday. As the duo looked on accelerate, Daryl Mitchell sent Shaw back into the hut. Shaw scored a quickfire 39 off 31 balls.
At No. 3, Shubman Gill disappointed once again as he was trapped right in front by Mitchell for just 8. Pant came in next and soon took the attack to the host bowlers. He brought up India’s 150 by hitting Ish Sodhi for two consecutive sixes.
