It looks like Mumbai Indians and India’s star all-rounder, Hardik Pandya, seems to have an affinity towards getting into controversy as he invited another one, during his comeback game in the ongoing DY Patil T20 Trophy.

Earlier in 2019, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) imposed a ban on Hardik and KL Rahul for their indecent remarks at celebrity talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’.

After suffering a long lay-off from the Indian team due to a back injury, Hardik flexed his muscles during one of the games in DY Patil T20 Trophy, while representing Reliance 1.

Pandya smacked four towering hits during his cameo of 38 which came off just 25 deliveries upfront and returned to take three wickets, showing one and all that he still is one of the best all-rounders in the country.

However, his all-round prowess was overshadowed by yet another controversy. Pandya came out to bat wearing a helmet with BCCI’s logo and Indian flag on it, the one which he puts on while representing the country during international games.

Back in 2014, the BCCI ordered referees to look at the Indian internationals, whether they don the Indian board’s logo while featuring in domestic matches.

If found donning the logo, it comes under violation of the association’s code. Accordingly, players must tape their logo before entering the ground.
