Hardik Pandya’s return to the cricket field has impressed many as the Indian all-rounder destroyed bowlers in the recently concluded DY Patil T20 Tournament – India’s first official T20 event – in Mumbai.
The 26-year-old slammed a 55-ball 158 in Reliance 1’s semi-final clash against BPCL in the 16th season of the T20 tournament. Pandya smashed 6 fours and 20 massive sixes during his blistering knock.
Thousand of fans attended to witness the carnage and they flooded the stadium with the chants of ‘Hardik.. Hardik’. As soon as the game completed, numerous fans in an attempt to meet their faviourate star stormed inside the ground and ended up invading the pitch.

The Surat-born cricketer is eyeing the national team for the upcoming One-Day International (ODI) series against South Africa which begins from March 12 in Dharamshala. Hardik last donned the blue jersey in a T20I match against the Proteas in September 2019.
