Earlier, Australia’s middle-order batsman Marnus Labuschagne, who had a terrific run in Test cricket, shimmered on return to his South African roots in the third ODI game.
The 25-year-old slammed his maiden century in the 50-over format. Labuschagne scored 108 to help his side post a competitive total of 254-7. For the Proteas, pacer Anrich Nortje and all-rounder Smuts picked two wickets each.
CENTURY! Marnus Labuschagne makes his first ODI century – fittingly just down the road from the town in which he was born.
