The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup final on Sunday saw Australia opener Alyssa Healy taking the Indian bowlers to the cleaners in a breezy half-century.
Healy smashed a 39-ball 75 to guide the hosts to a daunting 184/4, with her husband and Australian men’s cricketer Mitchell Starc watching over from the VIP stands.
India Tennis ace Sania Mirza, who is married to Pakistan cricket team all-rounder Shoaib Malik, took to Twitter to react on the news of Starc flying back home midway from the tour of South Africa. Starc returned to Australia to see his wife Alyssa Healy play in the 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup final.
“Sure thing !! God forbid it would be a guy from the subcontinent, the guy would be called a ‘joru ka ghulaam’ in one second good on you Mitchell couple goals for sure!! #beentheredonethat,” Mirza wrote on Twitter.

A screenshot of Mirza’s tweet was also posted as an Instagram story by Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma with the caption: Hahahah so true!!
Married to Team India captain Virat Kohli, Anushka is another personality who gets trolled on social media for various uncalled reasons.
Meanwhile, the first-time finalists India were outplayed by 85 runs as Australia claimed their fifth World T20 title in Melbourne.
