Jakes married his longtime girlfriend Charlene in January 2019.
Kallis, who is the current batting consultant of the Proteas side, has not accompanied the squad during their ongoing tour of India.
The 44-year-old is still widely regarded as one of the finest all-rounders ever to have played the game. He featured in 166 Tests, 328 ODIs and 25 T20Is for South Africa between 1995 to 2014.
