As the world is currently in a panic due to the threat of coronavirus (COVID-19), which was recently declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), countries have started isolating their international borders to get a hold of the virus.
The death toll across the globe due to this virus has gone over 6500; not only a lot of sporting activities but normal day-to-day activities have also been affected by the coronavirus outbreak.
Amidst all this, England’s Ben Duckett gave a savage reply to American model Katie Bell.
On Saturday, Bell posted a few pictures on Twitter and asked her fans about what she was thinking about by captioning them: “Guess what I’m thinking about.”
To this, the English cricketer replied by commenting: “Whether or not the season will be affected by the coronavirus.”

Coming back to the threat posed by the coronavirus, even the Indian Premier League (IPL) – Cricket’s showpiece event outside of the Internationals – have been grappling with the escalating situation. With the Indian government placing restrictions on the issuance of visas for foreign internationals, the BCCI has suspended the tournament till April 15.
Recently, the Indian cricket board met with the franchise owners to discuss the impact of the virus post which BCCI President Sourav Ganguly revealed that the 13th edition might well be a truncated one.
