For several decades now, the name of Rahul Dravid has been an epitome of discipline, professionalism and service to the Indian cricket.

His achievements on the cricketing field will always be unparalleled, albeit overshadowed by the career of batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar.

However, only legends such as Dravid can cross the 10K run mark in both ODIs and Test matches. Further, Dravid turned out to be the ‘Yes Man’ of Indian cricket. He has taken up whatever roles asked for, to provide service to Indian cricket, as a wicket-keeper, opener, captain, or coach.

Now one of the popular Twitter users used the image of one of the greatest servants of Indian cricket to promote precautionary measures for Corona Virus.

One of the most iconic moments of Indian cricket involved Dravid’s marathon series-defining partnership with VVS Laxman at Eden Gardens against Australia.

‘Don’t Panic. You can overcome the worst of the situations with patience’, captioned one of the posts with a picture of Dravid and Laxman walking back to the pavilion after successfully playing out an entire day, following on in the Test match.

The user took a cheeky reference during the Multan test match, where Dravid controversially declared the Indian innings with Sachin six short of his double century.

‘Call back your team members from offsite when you think the time is right, without worrying about someone’s personal milestones,’ captioned his post with Dravid calling Sachin back.

‘When you have mastered the art, teach others. (Fin.),’ the popular user post read, along with Dravid holding the U19 World Cup with Prithvi Shaw.

The user also tried to motivate people by quoting, “Tough times don’t last, tough men do,’ and ‘the best way to avoid danger is to keep a distance.”

“It’s important to have a clean and safe pair of hands,” referring to him being a gun slip-fielder.
