Ravindra Jadeja shares a video of his brilliance to run out Usman Khawaja to spread coronavirus awareness

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, all the cricket matches have been either canceled or postponed. As a result of this, cricketers are staying at home rather than going out on the field.

Following the rise of coronavirus pandemic positive cases in India, allrounder Ravindra Jadeja on Thursday shared a video to caution the citizens of his country and spread awareness of how to fight the deadly virus.

Jadeja posted a video of Australian batsman Usman Khawaja’s run out against India in 2019 at the Adelaide Oval. In the second ODI, Khawaja was batting on 21 when he hit a Kuldeep Yadav delivery towards point. Jadeja moved quickly to his left, picked up the ball and threw it towards the non-striker’s end – all in one motion.

The ball dislodged the wickets and the decision went up to the third umpire.

A few replays and the big screen read ‘Out’ as Khawaja was found short by a couple of inches.

The caption of Jadeja’s post read: “Stay safe, stay at home. Runout matt hona @foxcricket @cricketcomau”.

Meanwhile, the Indian Premier League (IPL) which was scheduled to start after April 15 is now at risk with the central government announcing a 21-day lockdown in the country. This lockdown will go on till mid-April, putting the IPL 2020 at a risk. Though, there hasn’t been any official word from the BCCI.
