A few days ago, Australia’s destructive opener David Warner shared a throwback clip of him doing the sword celebration during a shoot. The ‘Pocket Dynamite’ took to his official Instagram handle and uploaded a reversion clip in which he was spotted imitating the trademark ‘sword celebration’ of Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. The video was a year-old and was shot for his Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Warner also gave a caption to his post which read, “Throwback to this time last year to a commercial we were doing for @sunrisershyd Do you think I’ve got @royalnavghan covered for the sword??.
Now, the creator of this unique style, Jadeja, has come out with a lovely response and termed it as near to perfect. The 31-year-old took his Instagram to handle and commented on the post that read, “Hahahaah almost there, David.”
Jadeja is quite famous between his fans for the sword celebration which he exhibits after scoring a half-century or a hundred. In an interview, the Jamnagar-born had revealed that he usually does it in ‘Rajputana’ style.
At present, the cricketers are keeping themselves busy by sharing old videos, chatting on social media, taking part in podcasts and interacting with fans as all of them are forced to stay inside their houses due to the coronavirus outbreak which has been declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Speaking about the deadly COVID-19, then in India, more than 6500 people have been found infected with the virus which has taken 200-plus lives.
