While the majority of countries are in lockdown, Glenn Maxwell’s fiancee Vini Raman took to her Instagram handle and shared a few secrets of her relationship with the 31-year-old cricketer. She shared every detail ranging from the first date the couple went on to who is the better cook between the two.
In her Instagram post, Vini revealed that the couple met for the first time in December 2013 and dated each other for two years and four months. She also cleared that it was Maxi who proposed her first while also picking him as the better driver among the two.
Vini and Glenn got engaged in an Indian-style ceremony on March 17. The Aussie star and a few of his family members were also spotted wearing Indian attires during the occasion.
Maxwell has time and again stressed as to how vital Vini has been in his life, especially in helping him identify the mental health issues that the Victorian was going through.
Glenn had revealed that it was Vini who asked him to visit a mental health professional to overcome the issues he had been experiencing.
“It was actually my partner who suggested I speak to someone; she was the first one who noticed it, so I should probably thank her as well. Once I had that initial conversation, it was a big weight off my shoulders,” Maxwell had said.
“My girlfriend was probably No. 1. It wasn’t an easy job for her to deal with me going through my mood swings for the first few weeks. But Michael Lloyd was the guy I had the initial conversation with. He’s been someone who I’ve confided in since back in the academy days, so I’ve known him for well over a decade now.”
Provided the coronavirus pandemic gets over, Maxwell would next be seen in action playing for Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
