With Virat Kohli, like the rest of the world, is currently at home as the world grapples with the coronavirus pandemic. The Indian captain’s wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, on Friday, tried to bring his attention cravings by being a ‘particular type of fan’ to him.

On Instagram, Anushka can be seen urging Kohli to hit a four in a humorously crude manner. “Aye Kohli,” Anushka says in the video, “Chauka mar naa, chauka, aye Kohli, kya kar rha hai” (Kohli, what are you doing, hit a four).

“I thought he must be missing being on the field,” Anushka wrote in her caption, alongside the video. “Along with the love he gets from millions of fans, he must be especially missing this one particular type of fan too. So I gave him the experience.”

Virat and Anushka, much like other celebs, have been very active on social media during the lockdown. Sporting events across the globe have come to a standstill, with several nations placing very tight restrictions on travel and mass gatherings.

On Thursday, the BCCI announced that the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been suspended indefinitely, with the decision to be taken on September-October window seeing the condition of pandemic.
