Sachin Tendulkar is celebrating his 47th birthday today and the cricket fraternity greeted the batting legend with wishes on social media. Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar took to Twitter to share two pictures of him with Sachin and wrote a heartfelt message to extend his wishes for the Master Blaster.
“A very happy birthday to @sachin_rt. Arguably the best batsman in the history of the game. Its a pleasure to have known you, playing with you & against you. The battles against you on the ground are a treasure of my playing days,” Akhtar captioned his post.

Apart from Akhtar, Team India’s current opening batsman Rohit Sharma also wished the highest run-getter in international cricket on social media.
The current Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper on Twitter revealed that sharing the match-winning partnership at Sydney against Australia in the first final and receiving Test cap at Eden Gardens were his best two moments with Tendulkar.
“Many happy returns of the day to the great man.Hope you have a great day paaji. My two best moments with him were: 1) Sharing the match-winning partnership at Sydney against Australia in the first final. 2) Receiving my test cap at Eden gardens,” tweeted Rohit.

Tendulkar, much like other cricketers across the world, is spending time at home as the novel coronavirus wreaks havoc worldwide.
The former India cricketer recently pledged to feed 5,000 people for a month.
