With life coming to a standstill due to the outbreak of COVID-19, cricketers and Bollywood stars across the country have become quite active on social media. They have been interacting with journalists and TV presenters on live chats to keep their fans entertained during the lockdown. On Sunday, former Indian captain MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi made her debut on Instagram live.

Sakshi was hosted by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) host Rupha Ramani for a live session on Instagram where she revealed how Mahi has been spending time with his family in the ongoing coronavirus lockdown. Dhoni was all set to make his return to competitive cricket with CSK in the Indian Premier League (IPL) T20. However, the tournament has been suspended for an indefinite period due to the pandemic.

As Sakshi and Ramani started the conversation on CSK’s official Instagram handle, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was one of the celebrities to drop a comment. “Saks whats upppp,” wrote Ranveer before calling Sakshi’s first appearance on Instagram live a ‘dhamaka debut’. “First ever wah! Dhamaka debut” wrote Ranveer.

Ranveer, who rose to fame with ‘Band Baaja Baarat’, also starring Anushka Sharma, who happens to be Virat Kohli’s spouse, has come up the ranks. He is one of the most sought-after actors in the Indian film industry, having acted in movies like Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat Simmba, Gully Boy and others. Currently, he is married to Deepika Padukone, who’s also a popular actress in Bollywood.

PUBG, bikes keeping MS Dhoni busy in lockdown

As far as Sakshi is concerned, she is spending quality time with her husband Dhoni and their daughter Ziva. During her chat with Ramani, she talked about how Dhoni has been spending all his time, playing PUBG. She stated how the veteran wicketkeeper-batsman has been busy assembling spare parts in order to fix his bikes.

“Video games are a stress-buster for him. When he plays video games, it helps him divert his mind, which is a good thing. Nowadays, PUBG has encroached my bed. Mahi is sleep-talking about PUBG these days,” Sakshi said.

Talking about Dhoni nurturing his passion for bikes, Sakhi said, “He bought parts and assembled them. He was assembling a bike and fully assembled it, and he forgot to put one part and the next day he had to open the bike and he had to do it all over again.”
