The coronavirus pandemic has left the cricketers across the world with no option but to stay at home. In India, the biggest sporting event affected by the pandemic is the Indian Premier League (IPL). Just like fans, players also want the IPL to get underway, but with the COVID-19 cases rising in the country, no one can be sure of when or if it will happen at all.
However, during these trying times, everyone is doing their best to keep themselves, and others entertained. Indian fast bowler Deepak Chahar, who plays for Chennai Super Kings’ in the IPL was seen bowling to sister Malti in the nets on Tuesday.
Malti Chahar also shared a fun video of the same on her Twitter handle. “We miss IPL @deepak_chahar9 #ipl #csk #gocoronago #ipl2020,” she captioned the video.
In the video, Deepak and Malti’s father can be seen looking closely at his son’s run-up. Surprisingly, the pacer brought a little twist in the end hilariously delivering an under-arm ball at her sister, and even then she edged it to the slips.
🤣🤣🤣

Deepak Chahar holds the world record of best bowling figures in men’s T20 internationals as he picked up 6/7 against Bangladesh in November last year.
During his spell, Chahar also picked up a hat-trick, helping India to a 2-1 series win, coming from behind after losing the first match.
Chahar, who suffered an injury during the 2nd ODI of the three-match series against West Indies in December 2019, would have been planning on using the IPL to impress the selectors and get back in the national team.
But his plans have taken a backseat for now as the lucrative league has been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus outbreak.
