On Monday, New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern announced that there were no active cases in the country for the first time since February 28. Also, all preventive measures shall be lifted barring immigration and international travel.
Thus, the people of New Zealand will now lead a normal life, which they were accustomed to, bringing joy to the entire population of 3 million in the country.
Ardern, who announced after the Health Ministry’s official release, admitted that she did a little dance with her daughter in the press conference, highlighting the jubilation it brought to her.
New Zealand and Kings XI Punjab all-rounder, Jimmy Neesham, took to Twitter to congratulate his fellow countrymen.
In his tweet, Neesham dished out the three ‘Kiwi’ attributes, which help them succeed in the war against COVID-19.
