RIP Sushant Singh Rajput: CSK and other IPL franchises expresses grief over untimely death of Bollywood’s MSD

‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ lead actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on Sunday (June 14). He was just 34-years-old.

Sushant was found hanging at his home and a domestic help alerted the police. A team of Bandra Police rushed to investigate the untimely death of Bollywood’s MSD and details are still awaited.

Last seen in Netflix film Drive, Rajput was one of the bright stars of the younger generation. Apart from former Indian captain MS DHoni’s biopic, he has given blockbusters such as Kai Po Che, Kedarnath and Chhichhore.

Heartbroken and shocked’ with the news of Sushant’s sudden demise, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and other IPL franchises expressed their grief on Twitter.

“Still reeling in shock. Terribly unfair,” tweeted CSK.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) wrote: “Shocked, more than anything, by this news. Rest in Peace. Thank you for the memories. #SushantSinghRajput #RestInPeace.”

“We’re shocked and saddened to hear about the passing away of #SushantSinghRajput. A young and talented actor, gone too soon. Rest in peace,” tweeted Delhi Capitals.

“Thank you for the memories, Sushant. Let’s respect mental health, talk about it & reach out when in need,” wrote Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kings XI Punjab also bid goodbye to the talented actor.
