Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on Sunday, confirmed the Mumbai Police. According to reports, Sushant was found hanging at his Bandra flat in Mumbai.

The actor was a part of critically and commercially acclaimed movies including M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath and Chhichhore.

Sushant made his big-screen debut in 2013 with Kai Po Che!. Before making it big into Bollywood, he was the lead in Zee TV’s popular soap opera Pavitra Rishta.

Meanwhile, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) team co-owner is deeply heartbroken with the actor’s demise.

“What an Incredible Loss, an Incredible Mind & an Incredible Talent. Will miss seeing stars from the telescope on ur terrace, our Astrophysics &NASA conversations, Dance competitions, Cricket celebrations & Ghazal nights. I’m gonna MISS U SOO MUCH. LOVE YOU #RIP #gonetoosoon,” Preity wrote in her heartfelt note for 34-year-old Sushant.

When Sushant Singh Rajput perfectly replicated MS Dhoni’s helicopter shot

From spending almost nine months with former Indian wicket-keeper Kiran More to battling the enormous pressure of replicating MS Dhoni’s magic on the big screen, Sushant left no stone unturned to do justice to his character in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.

However, one of the most challenging actions of Dhoni for Sushant was replicating the former Indian skipper’s trademark ‘helicopter shot’.

In order to excel the role, Sushant had asked MSD’s childhood coach Keshav Banerjee to teach him the famous shot.

Banerjee, whose role was played by veteran actor Rajesh Sharma in the movie, told IANS that to portray Dhoni’s character well, Sushant asked him to teach the ‘helicopter shot’ and the wicketkeeper-batsman’s mannerisms while playing it.

“He was after me, the way Mahi used to play it, what were his facial expressions. He was so focussed. Single-minded determination. That’s why it came out so well. You could not tell it was not Dhoni. Today I have only memories, and I really am in utter shock,” Banerjee had said.
