Former English speedster Isa Guha walked down the memory lane and shared an old picture on Twitter, featuring herself and the ‘Master Blaster’ Sachin Tendulkar. In the photograph, Isa can be seen bowling to the Indian legend in the nets.
The cricketer-turned commentator also revealed the ambidextrous ability of Sachin, writing that the batsman also played left-handed for a while and he was equally adept in his unnatural stance too.
“One of the finds from lockdown! He won’t remember but in 2005, recovering from an elbow injury, the Little Master asked for some net bowlers & I was one of the lucky few. We bowled for an hr – Sachin batted left-handed too & was just as good,” Guha tweeted.

The batting maestro was quick in his reaction, and he came up with words of praise for Isa. He wrote, “I was looking for some practice and I got to face some good quality bowling courtesy you.”

The photo was from 2005 when Sachin was working hard to get back in the groove, after enduring a tennis elbow injury a year ago.
In the past, Sachin has opened up about the tribulations he faced after sustaining a career-threatening injury.
“Tennis elbow was really bad and a number of my friends have had tennis elbow after that. When they didn’t have it, they used to say how painful can it get; it can’t be that bad that you can’t hold a cricket bat. I said you need to experience it once, then you’ll know. If you are locked inside a room, you’ll not be able to open the door, it was that bad.”
This was perhaps the most depressing phase of Sachin’s career when nothing seemed to work. An elbow surgery was the last resort for the Indian batsman that he eventually got done in London. He made his comeback soon after the successful surgery, playing his first match against Sri Lanka.
