The ongoing pandemic caused by coronavirus has brought the whole nation to its knees. The situation only exacerbates as the epidemic enters its sixth month in India.
On Saturday, Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan got infected with the deadly virus. His son Abhishek Bachchan also tested positive later in the evening. Their residence in Mumbai has been declared a containment zone by the authority.
As the news gained prominence in a public forum, good wishes and encouraging messages kept pouring from fans, politicians and prominent public figures.
Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi too wished a speedy recovery for the Bachchan family.
Afridi tweeted, “Best wishes for @SrBachchan and @juniorbachchan. Hope you recover well and soon.”

To recognise Afridi’s immense contribution, the Pakistan team will be spotting his foundation logo in their next series against England.
Apart from Afridi, former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar too wished a speedy recovery to the Bollywood legend.
