Manish Pandey has emerged an asset for the Indian team in limited-overs cricket since past few months. Having made his debut in 2015, Pandey shot into limelight as the first Indian batsman to score a century in the Indian Premier League (IPL). His knock of 114 for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) came against the Deccan Chargers back in IPL 2009.
In 2015, he got to wear the blue jersey against Zimbabwe in Harare. Pandey’s first innings of note came against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground a year later; he smashed a match-winning century in the last ODI of the series as India successfully chased down 331.
Amid ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the 30-year old celebrated his ‘love’ Ashrita Shetty’s birthday on Thursday (July 16) at home.
Earlier in the day, Pandey wished his wife on her 27th birthday on Instagram and captained his post as: “Life with you gets better each day, happy birthday love @ashritashetty.”
Born on July 16 in 1993, Ashrita marked her debut as an actor with a comedy Tulu film titled Telikeda Bolli after winning a beauty contest ‘Clean & Clear Fresh Face’ in 2010.
After her debut, Ashrita was seen sharing screen space with actor Siddharth in Udhayam NH4, a 2013 Indian Tamil romantic thriller directed by debutant Manimaran. Later on, the South Indian diva went on to star in films such as Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum (2014), Indrajith (2017) and Naan Thaan Siva (2018).
On December 2, 2019, Ashrita married Manish in a traditional ceremony held in Mumbai that was attended only by their close friends and family members.
