Under a new head coach, Team India will take on T20 World Cup finalists New Zealand in a three-match T20I series starting at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur from Wednesday, November 17.
New head coach Rahul Dravid saw the preparations of the Men in Blue on Monday as they were put under test ahead of the first T20I. The hosts will also play under a captain in form of Rohit Sharma as Virat Kohli has stepped down from his post after the culmination of India’s campaign at the recently-concluded T20 World Cup.
On the other hand, New Zealand’s regular skipper Kane Williamson will sit out of the T20I-leg to focus on his preparations for the two-match Test series. In Williamson’s absence, Tim Southee will lead the team.
