India and Sri Lanka will lock horns in the upcoming three-match T20I series, starting February 24 at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
The last time both teams met, Sri Lanka had the upper hand towards their neighbour. India had toured Sri Lanka in July 2021, where the hosts had captured the three-match series 2-1. However, many senior players were missing in the side due to their Test commitments in England’s tour.
The scenes would be different this time around as a full-member Indian side will take on the Islanders. Indian star Rohit Sharma will lead his troops in the series, while Dasun Shanaka will captain Sri Lanka.
