Raina, who is known as Mr IPL, remain unsold in the recently-concluded mega-auction. However, the moment Roy decided to pull out of the cash-rich league, Gujarat Titans started trending with Raina hashtag.

Raina is one of the crowd favourites and barring the 2020 season he has participated in all editions since the inception of the tournament. The 35-year-old is among the six players to score over 5000 runs in the league. With 5528 runs from 205 matches, Raina is currently at the fourth position in the list of highest run-getters at IPL T20.

Meanwhile, Titans are yet to announce the replacement for their opening batter Roy.
