There is no doubt that Afghanistan superstar Rashid Khan is a splendid bowler, especially in the shortest format. The leg-spinner is highly accredited for his astonishing variations and possesses the distinction of trapping batters with remarkable accuracy.

From the Indian Premier League (IPL) to the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), the leggie features in almost all the top T20 tournaments, exhibiting high-calibre bowling.

Rashid will soon be seen in action in the upcoming edition of Big Bash League (BBL). The exciting tournament will stage its first-ever International player’s draft on August 28, and Adelaide Strikers are expected to sign their star bowler as a priority.

In a recent video with the BBL, Rashid was asked to name the three best current leg-spinners. The tweaker had no hesitation in naming Indian star Yuzvendra Chahal as his first pick before picking Australia’s Adam Zampa and Pakistan’s Shadab Khan as the other two choices.

While Shadab played for Sydney Sixers in the last BBL season, Zampa has been a regular part of the Melbourne Stars setup. Chahal, on the other hand, represented Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL 2022 and ended up grabbing the purple cap.

“Yuzvendra Chahal from India. Zampa, I always love watching him Bowl. Definitely, the third one will be Shadab Khan from Pakistan,” said Rashid.
