The Indian cricket team has landed in Dubai for the much-awaited Asia Cup 2022, which gets underway on August 27 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Rohit Sharma-led Men in Blue will begin their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on August 28. All eyes are on the high-voltage clash, and ahead of the mega contest, players from both teams met each other in Dubai.
The official Twitter handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video where Indian players can be seen greeting Pakistan cricketers, and players from the Afghanistan side were also present.
The likes of Hardik Pandya, and Yuzvendra Chahal, could be seen chatting with Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi. However, the moment which grabbed maximum eyeballs was when Indian superstar Virat Kohli met Pakistan captain Babar Azam. The moment between the two iconic modern-day cricketers was appreciated by fans from both countries.

There is no doubt that the focus will be mostly on Kohli and Babar regarding their batting display in the forthcoming multi-team event. While Babar is in a form of his life, scoring runs across the formats, Kohli, on the other hand, has been struggling to find his lost rhythm.
Not so long ago, the former India skipper had compared his current form with his struggles on the tour of England in 2014, stating his failures in England had a pattern, while the current lack of runs isn’t a matter of concern because he feels he is batting well.
“What happened in England was a pattern, so something that I could work on and something that I had to kind of overcome. Right now, as you rightly mentioned, there is nothing that you can point out saying that the problem is happening here. So, that, for me, is actually an easier thing to process because I know that I’m batting well, and at times, when I start feeling that rhythm back, then I know that I’m batting well. So, that for me is not an issue,” Kohli had said in an interaction on Star Sports show ‘Game Plan’.
