The eighth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup started on October 16, with Namibia upsetting Sri Lanka in the opening game of the tournament.
The 20-over showpiece event features as many as 16 teams who will compete in 45 overall matches. While eight sides have already qualified for the Super 12 phase, the remaining will compete in Round 1 – divided into two groups (A and B) – to qualify for the Super 12s.
