The team of the tournament for the ongoing Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 2022 has been announced. The side features consistent performers who helped their respective franchises sizzle in the multi-team competition.

Ahead of the upcoming finals in Adelaide and Sydney, the head coaches of all the WBBL clubs have picked the best XI of the eighth season.

The panel consists of eight head coaches namely Jonathan Batty (Melbourne Stars), Charlotte Edwards (Sydney Sixers), Trevor Griffin (Sydney Thunder), Simon Helmot (Melbourne Renegades), Dan Marsh (Hobart Hurricanes), Shelley Nitschke (Perth Scorchers), Ashley Noffke (Brisbane Heat), Luke Williams (Adelaide Strikers).

Jess Jonassen, the left-arm spinner, has been named the captain of the team. Similarly, Georgia Redmayne, the top-order batter, has been given the wicketkeeping duties.
