India pacer Mohammed Siraj sent Bangladesh batter Litton Das packing with an absolute beauty on Day 3 of the second and final Test between the two series in Dhaka.

Siraj and Das already had a face-off in the first Test of the two-match series, and the former once again had the last laugh. The lower-order Bangladeshi batter looked set to register his maiden Test hundred against India, but Siraj cleaned him up with a delivery that pitched on the hard surface and jagged back to hit the off-stump.

After dismissing Das, Siraj celebrated with a finger on his lips and then put his hand behind his ears.

Here’s the video:

In the post-match interview, Siraj explained that his celebration was targeted at the Bangladesh team fans who were at his ears after he failed to get No. 9 Taskin Ahmed out.

“The crowd was shouting things that is why I did that. After an LBW appeal against Taskin, I went back to fielding, and the crowd was shouting something. That’s why I did that,” he said.

“There is nothing with Litton Das. It’s a gentleman’s game. Don’t think so much. All a fast bowler needs is a bit of chit chat with the batsman so that his focus shifts and then he says some words. There is no such rivalry. It’s just fun.”

Talking about the match, India successfully chased the 145-run target after some early jolts on Day 4. All-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin and Shreyas Iyer stand tall in between Bangladesh’s dream of recording their maiden victory over India in red-ball cricket.

Meanwhile, with the two-wicket win in Dhaka, India sealed the Test series 2-0 as they won the first match in Chattogram by 188 runs.
