During the PSL 2023 match between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi, a friendly exchange between Hassan Ali and Babar Azam caught the attention of fans. The match took place at Karachi’s National Stadium, where Peshawar lost their second game of the season by six wickets.

After losing the toss, Peshawar posted 156-8 on the scoreboard in their stipulated 20 overs, thanks to Babar’s 75 and Mohammad Haris’ 40. Hassan was the pick of the bowlers for Islamabad with 3/35.

In reply, Islamabad comfortably chased down the target in the 15th over, with Rahmanullah Gurbaz scoring 62, Rassie van der Dussen making 42, and Asif Ali ending the game with an unbeaten 29 runs in 13 balls.

During an over, while facing Hassan, Babar decided to have some fun with his Pakistan teammate. In the middle of a run, with Hassan in his way, Babar pretended to hit him with his bat, causing Hassan to run for cover. It was a light-hearted moment that showed the camaraderie between the players and provided a bit of entertainment for fans watching the match.

In another incident, Babar expressed his frustration by slamming his bat on the ground after only scoring a single off the last ball of the innings. Despite his performance, Peshawar lost the game, and Babar was left disappointed with his last shot.
