Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have found a replacement for their injured player Rajat Patidar for the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Vyshak Vijay Kumar will replace Patidar after he suffered a heel injury and could not feature in the first two game of the season.

Despite efforts to recover, Patidar has been ruled out for the remainder of the tournament, leading to the team management looking for a replacement.

The 26-year-old Vyshak, who represents Karnataka in domestic cricket and has played 14 T20s with 22 wickets to his name, will be joining RCB for INR 20 lakh. The team management is hopeful that he can step up and fill the gap left by Patidar. Vyshak will join RCB at a price money of INR 20 lakh.

RCB’s performance in the IPL this year has been a mix of success and failure. The team secured a convincing eight-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians (MI) in their first game but could not maintain their form and suffered an 81-run defeat to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their second game. The team is currently in the middle of the points table and will be eager to bounce back in their next match.

RCB’s next game is against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), which will take place on April 10 at their home ground, M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. The team will be keen to make the most of their home advantage and put up a strong performance for their fans.
