Pakistan is all set to face New Zealand in the first game of the five-match ODI series at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Thursday, April 27. Notably, the recent T20I series between the two teams ended in a 2-2 draw, offering plenty of thrilling moments for fans.
Pakistan and New Zealand last met in an ODI series in January, with the Black Caps emerging victorious by a score of 2-1 in the three-match series. This time around, Babar Azam and his team will seek to redeem themselves and secure a win on their home turf.
Although some key New Zealand players will be absent due to their participation in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), the Kiwis are still expected to present a tough challenge for Pakistan.
It is also noteworthy that Mark Chapman has been included in New Zealand’s ODI squad after his impressive performance in the recently concluded T20I series against the Men in Green.
