Players with most consecutive matches in Test cricket

Australian spinner Nathan Lyon etched his name in record books in the second Ashes 2023 Test against England.

Lyon became the sixth player to play  100 or more consecutive Tests for a team  and third Australian.

He also became the first bowler to play 100 consecutive matches in the longest format.
