Unveiling Favorite ODI Centuries
In the realm of One Day International (ODI) cricket, Buttler shared his personal favorites among his own century-scoring innings. He reminisced about his remarkable ton against Pakistan in November 2015 and recalled a memorable century achieved against Australia in January 2018. Buttler labeled his 116-run knock in Dubai as one of his cherished achievements and hailed his Sydney century against Australia as one of the best innings he’s ever played.
“The 116 in Dubai [vs Pakistan in November 2015] is definitely one of my favourites. And then the hundred I got in Sydney [vs Australia in January 2018]. That was one of the best I have played,” said Buttler.
Butter lists his cherished T20 Innings
Turning the spotlight to Twenty20 cricket, Buttler divulged his most cherished T20 innings. He highlighted two standout performances from the 2021 and 2022 T20 World Cups and mentioned a couple of memorable knocks from the Indian Premier League (IPL). Buttler’s selection included his hundred in the challenging conditions of Sharjah during the 2021 T20 World Cup. He also reflected on his resilient 94 not out against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 2018 IPL, considering it among his finest displays.

Buttler noted the significance of his innings in the 2022 T20 World Cup semi-final against India, emphasizing the enjoyable partnership with Alex Hales. Additionally, he credited his standout century against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 2022 IPL as an achievement of note.
“The hundred in Sharjah [at the 2021 T20 World Cup] would definitely be one, especially in those sorts of conditions. I found the first half of that inning very tough. I got 94 not out against Mumbai Indians in the 2018 IPL at the Wankhede – that’s probably one of the best I have batted,” explained Buttler.
“The semi-final of the [2022] T20 World Cup against India – just a really enjoyable innings, but more so for the occasion in the game and the partnership [with Alex Hales]. And obviously in the 2022 IPL – maybe the hundred against RCB felt like a really good one,” he added.
