In a video shared on his Instagram account, Afridi, along with the two film stars, engaged in a lively and animated conversation, highlighting the universal appeal of cricket and its ability to bring people from diverse backgrounds together.

The 46-year-old posted the video with the below caption.
“Have been on the road between Canada for GT20 Canada and the USA for US Masters T10 and multiple charity events for the Shahid Afridi Foundation past 40 days. I miss Pakistan. One thing is for sure, Nothing unites people more than sports, especially cricket. Love this game,” the caption read.
Notably, Afridi has cultivated deep and enduring friendships with several Indian cricketing legends, including the likes of Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni. Despite being a veteran of the game, with his international career spanning from 1996 to 2018, Afridi continues to be a charismatic and influential figure in the cricketing world.
Latest venture in the US Masters T10 League
During Afridi’s recent stint with the Warriors in the US Masters T10, he played under the leadership of his former national captain, Misbah-ul-Haq. In the tournament’s climactic final, Afridi had a brief but engaging innings, scoring just 1 run from 2 deliveries before being dismissed by Ehsan Adil. Ultimately, the Warriors managed to post a competitive total of 92 runs within their allotted 10 overs. The response was equally electrifying, with Mohammad Hafeez‘s explosive innings of 46 runs from just 17 balls helping the Chargers match the target. The thrilling contest culminated in a Super Over, where the Chargers emerged victorious, clinching the championship trophy.
