The Asia Cup 2023 is all set to witness one of the most intense cricket rivalries as India and Pakistan gear up to square off against each other in the third match of the event on Saturday (September 1). With the marquee clash just one night away, excitement is floating in the air, and Team India fans from across the world are extending their best wishes to Rohit Sharma and Co. ahead of the important clash against arch-rivals.

India’s golden boy and ace javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra also took the time to share a special message for the Indian Cricket Team. Notably, Olympic Gold medalist Neeraj recently made India proud by becoming the world champion and securing the top place in the World Athletics Championship 2023 Men’s Javelin Throw Competition. Interestingly, Neeraj had edged past Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem in the contest, who finished at the second spot and bagged the silver medal.

As the world is now gearing up for another India-Pakistan encounter, but this time on the cricketing field, Neeraj conveyed best wishes to Men in Blue for the intense match. The video of the same was shared by RevSportz.

“I would like to say all the best to our Indian team. Just give your hundred percent in the match and win it for the nation through your hard work,” said Neeraj.

While it will be India’s first match in the Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan have already defeated Nepal in the tournament opener and will enter the field with confidence. However, India are also coming from an intense practice session in Alur before leaving for Sri Lanka and would look to build up on the momentum.

It is worth mentioning that the clash between the two formidable sides will be played at the Pallekele International Stadium and will begin at 09:30 am GMT/03:00 pm IST/ 3:00 pm local.
