World Cup 2023 kicks-off from October 5
The 13th edition of the Men’s ODI World Cup is eagerly anticipated, as it marks India’s sole hosting of this prestigious ICC event for the first time. Commencing on October 5, the tournament promises an electrifying start, with the inaugural match pitting defending champions England against the runners-up from the last ODI World Cup final, New Zealand. The encounter will unfold at the magnificent Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
India will begin their World Cup journey on October 8, facing Australia at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Before their World Cup meeting, India are scheduled to engage in a three-match ODI series against Australia, commencing on September 22, intensifying the pre-tournament excitement.
